CrossFit has been apart of my life since 2013. Once I finished my high school career in sports I needed something, a hobby to keep me active like sports did. CrossFit was my solution. After the first day I walked into a gym I was hooked. I was there 7 days a week. I never knew I would enjoy working out so much. The work ethic and mental fortitude that comes from enduring a week’s worth of WOD’s was addicting. I came into CrossFit with no expectation of trying to become a coach. After a couple months of doing CrossFit, I was given an opportunity to become a coach/intern and that’s when I started to fall in love with helping others on their fitness journey. I ended up getting my CrossFit L1 Certification while I was attending Texas State University. I studied and obtained a degree in Exercise Sports Science which has really led me to love the health and fitness world. I’ve been coaching and training CrossFit for going on 5 years now, and not once have I ever regretted starting back in 2013.
