What Is CrossFit?

General Physical Preparedness (G.P.P.) 

CrossFit is an all-inclusive exercise program where athletes perform “constantly varied, functional movements at high intensity.”

In other words:  we do lots of different exercises, with different weights, use different time constraints, and we work as hard as we can every time o prepare you for your everyday life!

Universal Scalability, No Experience Required

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparent-CrossFitters differ by degree, not kind. The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used the same programming for elderly individuals with heart disease and the elite level athletes. Our first responders, runners, mountain bike riders and stay-at-home moms have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

CrossFit is for Everyone

We don’t change our programs to fit different people — we scale load and intensity to get different people fit. CrossFit is for everyone.

What do the workouts consist of?  Group training incorporating weightlifting, gymnastics, and cardio movements, which we will teach in the Fundamentals Course.
